Deutsche Bourse has retained the services of banking veteran Gerd Hausler as an adviser to the executive board in clearing and settlement. Hausler was previously a member of the board of managing directors of Dresdner Bank and chairman of the investment banking division at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. Before this, Hausler worked at German Bundesbank and the Bank for International Settlements. In 1994 he was appointed to the Bundesbank Directorate and
