William Blair & Co. has been hired to assist the vendor, which would also consider a merger or joint venture. PC Quote has distributed an offering prospectus to potential buyers.
PC Quote, primarily a provider of online equity stock quotes and market data, has been riding a financial rollercoaster for the past few years. The vendor, which reported a loss of $1.1 million
