Mark Wells has resigned from his position as chief operating officer of investment analysis software firm, Brainpower. His responsibilities will be split between the company’s chairman and CEO Rocco Pellegrinelli and Brainpower’s supervisory board member and honorary president Marizio Pescosolido.

A spokesperson for Brainpower says Wells was travelling extensively and wanted to step back from a day-to-day role. Wells will continue to act as a part-time consultant
