Major faultlines in Market Data


Last week's Inside Market Data Europe 2004, IMD's second annual European conference, revealed a number of major faultlines in the market data industry.

Some of these are perennials, such as the customers' frustration with vendor policies. Bloomberg, Reuters and Thomson Financial all faced some criticism, although the first two suffered the most, with negative comments about Bloomberg Anywhere as well as 3000 Xtra and RMDS.
