CUMMINGS NAMED HEAD OF MERRILL LYNCH IT GROUP

Late last week, Merrill Lynch officially named senior vice president John W. Cummings to head the firm’s Global Technology & Services group and serve as chief information & services officer. Cummings succeeds John A. McKinley, Jr., who will leave Merrill Lynch at the end of this month (see p. 1 and TTW, Jan. 27). Cummings moves up from his post as COO of the Global Technology & Services group.
