Barclays Capital Group Names Steinmetz Global IT Head Ending Speculation About Who Will Fill Top IT Spots

LONDON--Chip Steinmetz has been named managing director and global head of IT at Barclays Capital Group, effectively replacing current IT head Bill Cook. Barclays Capital Group is the investment banking division of Barclays Bank.
Steinmetz, who will be based in the UK, will start his new position on April 27, says a bank spokesperson.
