GLOCER IS PRESIDENT OF REUTERS AMERICA

has officially appointed executive vice president, Reuters America, Thomas Glocer to president, Reuters Information, the Americas, and president of Reuters America. The appointment is effective October 1 and follows the previously announced retirement of Michael Sanderson from his role as chairman and CEO of Reuters America Holdings. Sanderson will continue as non-executive chairman of Reuters America Holdings through December 31.Glocer's appointment
