NYFIX GETS CEO FROM JP MORGAN
The broker/dealer affiliate of trading-system vendor NYFIX, NYFIX Millennium, named Robert Gasser to its new chief executive officer post. Gasser had previously worked as head of US equity trading at JP Morgan, where in addition to trading he handled the firm's global equity e-commerce strategy. JP Morgan was a primary investor in NYFIX Millennium. Gasser will guide NYFIX Millennium's development of its alternative trading system.
