First Boston Bond Tech Chief Steinmetz Departs To Take Similar Post At Union Bank Of Switzerland

Chip Steinmetz, global fixed-income technology chief of CS First Boston Corp. and head of technology at Credit Suisse Financial Products (CSFP) has resigned to become managing director and head of fixed-income technology at Union Bank of Switzerland. First Boston has not yet named a successor to Steinmetz, although it is expected to do so imminently. CSFP is First Boston's derivatives trading affiliate.
Steinmetz, who started his new job at UBS last week, will run the global fixed-income
