CSK Poised to Buy Invision Developer QFS, Micrognosis Parent Days Away from Deal

VENDOR STRATEGIES

Tokyo-based CSK Corp., parent of data distribution system vendor Micrognosis, is close to finalising its purchase of Dublin-based system integrator Quay Financial Software (QFS). QFS developed Invision, the Microsoft Windows-based digital data distribution and display system sold exclusively by Micrognosis. The deal also gives Micrognosis rights to QFS' risk-management and pricing products. Sources say that the acquisition is likely to be signed and announced by mid-July.
