Ixnet Buys Saturn From MW Marshalls To Expand Network Reach For Services

NEW YORK--Ixnet, a subsidiary of IPC Information Systems, has acquired Saturn Global Network Services in a deal that will expand the Ixnet's network reach into new regions for delivery of its financial data services.

Ixnet purchased the London-based Saturn Global Networks (SGN) from money broker MW Marshalls & Company for £30 million ($48.9 million). The deal is expected to close within the next 40 days.

The deal will provide Ixnet with access to SGN's existing customer base, such as Euro
