DKB Refuses To Pay Big Blue's Bill

Al-Noor Ramji's campaign to re-invent the London office of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson with a major outsourcing campaign has had some bumpy goings so far.

Sources say Ramji, DKB's IT director, hired IBM this June to provide global desktop and networking support, replacing incumbent SHL Systemhouse.

IBM set up shop as DKB's network and communications provider for two months with personnel from its Portsmouth office. At the end of those two months, IBM's proposal for a permanent outsourcing contract
