CHASE COMPLETES CONSOLIDATION WITH CHEMICAL BANK

NEW YORK--As proof of just how difficult it is to merge the technologies of two leading securities firms, it took Chase nearly two years to consolidate its technologies with those of Chemical Bank. In the end, many of the trading technologies originally used by Chemical figured big in Chase's plans.
