Reuters officials confirm that John Haruni was named as the new practice manager for the Tibco business at the Marketnet Group, now a part of Reuters (TTW, June 19). At press time, the Tibco service, formerly known as Alt Systems, is expected to undergo other staff changes as well. Haruni was the first employee of Alt, a joint venture between Marketnet and MSB Consultants that was launched in 1997 (Trading Systems Technology, April 14, 1997).
