CME REP TO CO-CHAIR FPL

Officials from FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL) have announced that Matt Simpson, an associate director of electronic trading systems architecture at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has been elected as co-chair of the FPL Global Technical Committee. Simpson will serve along with Kevin Houstoun, a member of the new "dream team" for HSBC (DWT, May 16). Houstoun has served in the FPL post since June 2004 (DWT, Aug. 23, 2004). Simpson helped develop the CME’s Clearing 21 System
