Chris Concannon, executive vice president, transaction services US with exchange operator Nasdaq OMX Group has stepped down from his position. Concannon will join Virtu Financial, a newly formed proprietary trading firm, as a partner. During his time with Nasdaq OMX, Concannon was responsible for overseeing and integrating acquisitions including the Brut ECN, Instinet, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) and the Boston Stock Exchange (BSE). He previously held a position with Instinet Clearing
