SEC Promotes Hodgkins
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has appointed Gerald Hodgkins an associate director of the division of enforcement. In this new role, he will assist in planning and directing SEC enforcement efforts. Hodgkins has worked in the enforcement division since 1997, overseeing several high-profile investigations resulting in enforcement actions. Hodgkins replaces Fredric Firestone, who left the SEC for the private sector.
