Is SIFMA dead?

That's a good question, and one that has been asked by a number of people at this year's conference. After all, exhibitor numbers are significantly down compared with the event's halcyon days of the early part of the last decade. So, too, are attendee numbers on the decline.

But does that mean SIFMA is dead? No. Is SIFMA even dying then? Again, the answer is no. But this event has changed and I think it is unlikely that we will ever see it return to the crazy days of 2003 to 2007
