Tullett Prebon Hires Allain

Interdealer broker Tullett Prebon has named Phillippe Allain managing director and head of its new risk arbitrage desk focused on mergers and acquisitions.

Allain will report to Tom Bovitz, senior managing director of equities at the firm, and is based in Tullett Prebon’s Jersey City, NJ, office.

Previously, Allain served as managing director and head of risk arbitrage sales at Newedge Group. Moving with him from Newedge to Tullett Prebon is Mourad Jridi, who will serve as director.

SEC squares off with broker-dealers over data analytics usage
