Remuneration for Risk Pros on the Up

Compensation packages for risk professionals in the capital markets rebounded last year, returning to levels last observed between 2003 and 2004 after significant declines in 2007 and 2008, according to the sixth annual Professional Compensation Survey carried out by Risk Talent Associates (RTA).

Between 2008 and 2009, total compensation increased by 3 percent, following a 12 percent decrease between 2007 and 2008. Between 2008 and 2009, salaries grew by 2 percent and bonuses by 4 percent
