ITG Hires Weingarten as Managing Director
Former Penson Worldwide executive Dan Weingarten has joined agency broker and crossing network provider ITG as a managing director. In his new role, Weingarten will focus on reaching more retail and institutional broker-dealers with the company's liquidity services. He will report to Hitesh Mittal, head of liquidity management at ITG. Previously, at Penson, Weingarten was co-director of global sales and marketing, and his prior experience includes positions at Nyfix, Island ECN, Credit Suisse
