Exchanges’ Q2 Data Revenues Rise
Exchange market data revenues generally performed well in the latest round of quarterly financial results, despite overall revenues at some exchanges being tempered by volatile markets.
NYSE Euronext reported total revenues of $1.1 billion for the quarter, a fall of 12 percent over last year, prior to the impact of expenses relating to its proposed merger with Deutsche Börse. Of this, revenue from the exchange’s data and technology activities was $122 million, a rise of 14 percent over 2010
