Genscape Taps Thomson Reuters’ Burkley for CEO

Matthew Burkley, former head of strategy for Thomson Reuters' Markets division, has joined Louisville, KY-based energy supply data provider Genscape as chief executive, Inside Market Data has learned.

Burkley was most recently chief financial officer of Thomson Reuters' Sales & Trading division, and had also served as interim head of the division prior to the appointment of Shanker Ramamurthy as president of the division (IMD, May 30). However, soon afterwards, the vendor announced that Burkley
