JonesTrading Gets its Man in Garceau
After six years of prodding, Packy Jones finally got his man.
Jones, chairman and CEO of JonesTrading Institutional Services, a Westlake Village, Calif.-based block-trading brokerage firm, convinced former Fidessa employee Jack Garceau to join JonesTrading as CTO.
"In the last two or three years we've expanded into trading in Europe and Asia, and we've opened up in Canada," says Jones. "We've expanded very successfully into capital markets and derivatives. That puts a lot of pressure on the IT
