GFI Group Mints First CTO
Interdealer broker GFI Group has promoted Jerry Dobner to the position of CTO—the firm’s first.
Dobner, a GFI veteran, will maintain the responsibilities he held as global head of development/e-commerce, and will oversee technology development, system support and investments in GFI's Fenics trading platform, according to Colin Heffron, president of GFI.
Dobner began his career with the firm over a decade ago as a Java developer.
