Endace Goes Greene

Network and latency monitoring technology vendor Endace has hired Juniper Networks veteran Spencer Greene as senior vice president of product management and marketing, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the New Zealand-based vendor plans to set up a marketing headquarters. Greene spent 12 years at Juniper in various senior roles—most recently as VP of its Junos Software network operating system—after it acquired Layer Five, a networking hardware company that he founded, in 1999.

SEC squares off with broker-dealers over data analytics usage

The Gensler administration has ruffled feathers in the broker-dealer community with a new proposal seeking to limit their use of predictive data analytics. But at the heart of this deal is something far more seismic: one of the first attempts by the SEC to regulate AI.
