Risk Tech Spending to Rise Sharply Through 2015

A recent report published by IDC Financial Insights looks at the state of financial technology spending, specifically in the risk management area. According to the research, financial services firms currently spend in the region of $56 billion on risk technology, a figure set to rise by seven percent through 2015. By Sitanta Ni Mathghamhna.

The report, Worldwide Risk Technology Spending ─ 2011 Analysis and Forecasts, suggests worldwide IT spending pertaining to risk functions will reach over $74
