A WILD Look Into 2012

Jessica Titlebaum, Women in Listed Derivatives (WILD)

Have you seen major advancements for women in the industry this year?
Jessica Titlebaum, WILD: Yes, it was great that commissioner Jill Sommers is leading the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC's) investigation into the MF Global bankruptcy, after chairman Gary Gensler recused himself. Another big stride was the appointment of Christine Lagarde as head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It is important to have role models like this and women to look up to.
