BAML Appoints Two for Global Transaction Services
Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) has appointed Bill Borden to the role of managing director and head of North America product solutions, and Dennis Sweeney, also a managing director, as an executive for its treasury solutions business. Both will be based in New York and begin at the bank in September.
Borden, who previously led cash management and securities fund services relationships with government entities at Citibank, will spearhead BAML's expansion of its global transaction services products across several banking lines.
Sweeney, meanwhile, is charged with overseeing the bank's treasury platforms and advising clients on their development. He comes to BAML after 20 years at General Electric, where he was most recently deputy treasurer, after having created the first web-enabled treasury workstation and helped successfully push for the Swift network to support treasuries.
