Compared to recent summers, which have been a roller-coaster ride of activity driven by economic turmoil and data professionals intent on keeping their jobs eschewing time off in favor of redoubling their efforts at their desk or in the datacenter, the last week was positively reminiscent of the summer lulls of old.
