SIFMA Eyes SEC Rematch Over Data Fees

Trade organization the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) has filed two petitions with the US Securities and Exchange Commission that it hopes will pave the way for a judicial review of the way exchanges introduce new fees for their market data.

The petitions state that the fees for certain proprietary market data charged by the Nasdaq Stock Market and its PHLX and BX markets, the BATS Exchange, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the Chicago Stock Exchange, Direct
