Markit-Quartet Alliance to Yield Increased Risk Performance

Markit and Quartet FS, both based in London, have agreed an alliance that will see Markit licence Quartet's ActivePivot platform within its Markit Analytics service.

Markit will licence Quartet FS' ActivePivot platform, an optimized in-memory aggregation engine designed to provide high-performance views of transactional data, within its Markit Analytics platform, a services that provides financial institutions with risk management, pricing and financial analytics solutions and data.

ActivePivot will also aggregate the thousands of vectors generated by the Markit Analytics engine in real time, leading to sub-second marginal netting and impact analysis for IM
