One CEO Departs at NYSE Liffe, Another Rises

Finbarr Hutcheson, NYSE Liffe

In addition to his previous responsibilities handling commercial and business development, Hutcheson will take over Ibbotson's roles as head of exchange trading, clearing, and regulation. He joined the exchange from Goldman Sachs in 2011.

In July, Liffe's London futures platform transferred clearing services from LCH.Clearnet to ICE Clear Europe. Ibbotson oversaw that transformation before stepping down. A statement from the exchange said he is pursuing other opportunities.
