HSBC Chooses Thomas for Major Client Data Project

David Thomas has left Barclays Capital and joined HSBC, where he has taken responsibility for establishing a shared services model for client data within the global banking and markets division.

Thomas has been appointed HSBC's global head of client central services and will take a lead role in launching a new shared services model for client data, which is a critical component of the bank's data operations.
