In Six Months, Ransomware Fear Has Grown
Another threat, ransomware, has come to the fore recently. Employed by cash-seeking criminals rather than sophisticated corporate or state actors, ransomware is malware that encrypts critical company files. The hacker will only unencrypt them in exchange for a ransom payment.
