Symphony's First Movement: Symphony Acquires Markit's Collaboration Services
Consortium hopes to release the fully-integrated platform in July 2015
On October 1 it was announced that a consortium of investment firms led by Goldman Sachs had invested in a new company called Symphony Communication Services after acquiring Perzo, which created Symphony's secure communications and workflow platform.
Only two months later, Symphony has made its first purchase, acquiring Markit's Collaboration Services, a suite of messaging and federation tools that was launched in October 2013.
