Ipreo Buys Private Company Financial Data-Mapping Vendor ClearMomentum
The acquisition marks the first addition to Ipreo's Alternative Assets vertical, which was created in November 2014, when the vendor acquired shareholder workflow tools provider Shareholder InSite to provide investors in privately held companies with data and analytics tools to support valuations and deal modeling (IMD, Nov. 4, 2014).
The addition of ClearMomentum will enable Ipreo to deliver greater transparency and data integrity in the alternative assets market, officials say.
