VWD Taps FactSet, Thomson Vet Gijssel for CEO
Gijssel spent 18 years at FactSet, preceded by eight years at Thomson Financial.
Gijssel will be responsible for the overall strategy of the company and for heading its sales and communications divisions, as well as increasing its focus on growing sales.
Prior to joining VWD, Gijssel spent 18 years at US data and analytics vendor FactSet Research Systems, most recently as senior vice president and managing director of international investment management sales.
Between 1989 and 1997, Gijssel has also held roles at Thomson Financial's Datastream International business, where
