Dash, LiquidPoint Merge to Form Dash Financial Technologies
Peter Maragos, current CEO of Dash, will serve as CEO of new entity.
The merger of Dash, a New York-based provider of execution and analytics solutions for the US options and equities markets, and LiquidPoint brings together complimentary businesses in the US options agency execution space. GTCR, a Chicago-based private equity firm that owns a controlling interest in Convergex, is lifting LiquidPoint out of Convergex to merge it into Dash, and as such will be the majority-owner of the new firm.
