DTCC’s Tony Freeman Leaves to Consult

Tony Freeman (pictured above) has left his role as executive director of government relations at the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) to become a consultant. 

Freeman spent over 15 years at the firm’s subsidiary, Omgeo, as the global head of industry relations. He was involved in the markets’ transition to a T+2 settlement cycle, and preparing firms for regulatory reporting in compliance with EMIR and MiFID II.
