MDSL to Continue Data Focus After Sale to PE Firm SEP and Merger with Telesoft

MDSL CEO-turned-chairman Mendoza says the acquisition will enable MDSL to become a leader in technology expense management.

Following the acquisition, SEP has combined the companies under the MDSL brand, and appointed Telesoft chief executive Charles Layne CEO of the merged vendor, while MDSL founder and CEO Ben Mendoza becomes chairman. Mendoza describes his new responsibilities as a “promotional role” which involves “speaking to customers about new innovation, particularly around financial services.”
