BT NAMES CTO
BT Global Financial Services, a subsidiary of U.K. telecommunications giant BT, has named Mark Akass CTO. Akass will be responsible for directing the development of technology-based services. He was previously CTO of financial services extranet provider BT Radianz, now part of BT Global Financial Services. Akass joined BT Radianz in 2000 as vice president of engineering. Previous roles include stints in engineering, service delivery, sales support and customer service.
