DK Kills Digital Markets Unit

LONDON-Dresdner Kleinwort (DK), formerly Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), has culled its experimental Digital Markets (DM) division as part of an internal restructuring that has restored the bank's more traditional vertical approach, sources close to the matter say.

In addition, the pioneers behind Digital Markets have left or will do so soon. Sean Park, the head of the DM unit, will leave the bank by the end of this month while J.P. Rangaswami, who spearheaded DM with Park, has quit DK
