To beef up its electronic trading services unit, Jefferies & Co. has added six new staff to its quantitative strategies sales and trading business lines. Jatin Suryawanshi has been named managing director and head of global quantitative strategies. Suryawanshi will be responsible for developing the firm's algorithmic trading product strategy and offerings. Partha Sarkar and Sanjay Girdhar have both been appointed senior vice presidents within Jefferies' quantitative
