NEW YORK-Two research-related endeavors hit Wall Street this week, with one agency broker unveiling a research broker credit and another embarking on an exclusive technology research partnership.

Agency broker Instinet announced that it will work exclusively with IDC (International Data Corp., a part of International Data Group) as its technology research partner. The venture, dubbed IDC Tech Investor, will use IDC's 850 analysts worldwide to provide data and analysis to institutional investors
