Thomson Reuters News Promotes Rhoads
Thomson Reuters has appointed Brian Rhoads managing editor for the Americas, following the promotion of former managing editor Betty Wong to global managing editor. Rhoads, currently Reuters' North Asia editor in Beijing, covering China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, will move to New York to begin his new role on Sept. 29, following the Beijing Olympics. In his new role, Rhoads will report directly to Wong and oversee approximately 650 journalists covering text
