NYSE Takes On SIAC with Level 1 Feed

The New York Stock Exchange is developing a new feed of Level 1 quote and trade data that will not be delivered via its subsidiary the Securities Industry Automation Corp., officials tell Inside Market Data.
The NYSE currently distributes its top-of-book data via the Consolidated Tape Association feed from SIAC, the technology subsidiary that it founded with the American Stock Exchange in 1972. However, this new feed, which has the working title of NYSE Level 1, will be delivered independently of
