Bergmeijer Takes New Role at TR
Mike Bergmeijer has been appointed global head of news strategy for Thomson Reuters' Investment and Advisory business, following the vendor's acquisition of news analysis and commentary service provider Breakingviews last year (IMD, Oct. 19, 2009). Bergmeijer joined Breakingviews last year as commercial director after serving in a number of senior roles at Dow Jones, including managing director of Dow Jones Newswires International, Dow Jones' Consumer Media Group
