Merrill Lynch Cuts Data Costs

Merrill Lynch’s capital markets group in New York is currently reviewing its market data services in an effort to reduce costs, sources say.

The firm is about to complete a four-month review that includes cutting down the services of at least one major data vendor, says a source. The review is currently limited to New York but may be extended to other areas later, this source says.
