Jardine Creates Board Post To Head IT, New Hire To Help Centralise IT In Asia

As D&IS went to press last week, Jardine Fleming Holdings Ltd. was set to announce it has created a main board directorship to oversee the firm's technology in Asia. Paul Gallagher has taken that post as the new director of IT and operations at Jardine Fleming Group, joining from Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. At Morgan, Gallagher was on the business side, heading Morgan Stanley Services, a collection of companies that provide services for fund management in non-Japan Asia.
